Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how United Eight Internet Exchange Systems Corp. (“UE-IX,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information processed through the UE-APPS QuickBooks Integration (“Integration”).

The Integration is a private internal business tool that connects UE-IX UISP CRM with QuickBooks Online for billing, accounting, bookkeeping, and financial-record purposes.

01Information We May Process

When the Integration is authorized and used, it may process or transmit information necessary to export UISP CRM records to QuickBooks Online.

The Integration does not collect, store, or process credit-card numbers, bank-account numbers, or payment-card security codes.

03How Information Is Shared

Information is shared with Intuit QuickBooks Online only when the Integration is authorized and configured to export records.

Information may also be accessed by authorized UE-IX personnel, accountants, auditors, IT administrators, and service providers who require access for legitimate operational, accounting, security, support, or legal purposes.

UE-IX does not sell customer information or QuickBooks Online data.

04QuickBooks Online and Third-Party Services

QuickBooks Online is operated by Intuit. Information sent to QuickBooks Online is also subject to Intuit’s applicable terms, privacy practices, security measures, and data-handling policies.

The Integration depends on third-party services, including Intuit APIs, internet service providers, hosting providers, security providers, and UISP CRM infrastructure.

05Authorization Tokens and Security

The Integration uses OAuth authorization to connect to QuickBooks Online. UE-IX does not request or store QuickBooks Online passwords.

Authorization tokens are stored and protected using reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss.

Access to the Integration and related financial data is restricted to authorized personnel based on operational need.

No system can be guaranteed completely secure. Users should immediately report suspected unauthorized access, credential compromise, or suspicious activity.

06Data Retention

UE-IX retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary for accounting, billing, operations, security, legal compliance, audit, dispute resolution, and record-retention purposes.

Records already exported to QuickBooks Online may remain in QuickBooks Online after the Integration is disconnected. Removing the connection does not automatically delete previously exported records.

07Your Choices and Requests

Authorized users may revoke the Integration’s QuickBooks Online access through Intuit/QuickBooks Online or by disabling the QuickBooks connection within UISP CRM.
